Contemplation is nothing else than a secret and peaceful and loving inflow of God, which, if not hampered, fires the soul in the spirit of love. - St. John of the Cross
Centering Prayer is a silent prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself.
The practice begins with an opening meditation followed by 25 minutes of silence, so each gathering will take about 30 minutes. All are invited. No experience or long term commitment necessary.
Optional coffee and conversation afterwards with the Rev. Dr. Scott Owings

what is hidden
