Join us for a Lenten book study of Healing Resistance: A Radically Different Response to Harm, a timely book by nonviolence practitioner and thinker Kazu Haga. Haga brings over 20 years of experience practicing and teaching and applying the Kingian Nonviolence method. We'll enter into this discussion alongside our Christian/Episcopal faith tradition, and address a range of issues from at the intersections of faith, activist and ministry burnout, and spiritual renewal. What lessons can we learn, and how can we reclaim the energy and assertiveness of the nonviolent tradition practice and integrate it into our faith practices as a way to transform both unjust systems and broken relationships? Series facilitated by St. A's Assistant Chaplain, Francisco García. The book can be found on all e-book platforms, online booksellers, and ordered for delivery to Parnassus Books!
Meets for 5 Sundays in Lent at 10:15am, on Zoom.
