The Worship Guild is looking for additional volunteers!
We handle all the non-staff roles during the services at St. A’s, and it is such a rewarding way to connect with and serve our community!
What do we do?
Readers: Read the Lesson and lead the Prayers of the People
Service Flow: Help people know when to go and where to stand for Communion, collect the offering, and count the number of people attending
Eucharistic Ministers: Assist the clergy in serving the bread and wine for communion.
Most Sundays you’ll find anywhere between 12 and 20 of us volunteering in these roles. Volunteers sign up each month for the Sundays they plan to be at church. Most of us volunteer 1-2 times per month, though some volunteer almost every week and others only every couple of months.
