Canterbury CIRCLE is an open and affirming Christian community that strives to see the sacred through the secular. We build a community of love and laughter through open-to-all communion, fellowship events and service focused on social justice. CIRCLE is supported by the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee and St. Augustine’s Chapel. The Circle is here to serve you and in turn, help you serve others.
Devo & Dinner Weekly - Wednesdays from 7:00-8:45 p.m. at the A-frame
Join us for Devotion and Dinner! This is our main weekly meeting when we gather for a short devotion, fellowship, and a home-cooked meal.
Spring Break Trip
Every Spring Break a group of students join with other area volunteers (staff, faculty, etc.) pack their bags and hit the road to provide service to those in need around the world. We work hard, eat well, enjoy each other’s company, make new friends, and help God’s people. We have been to such exotic places as Mexico City, Cat Island (Bahamas), Santa Rosalia, Baja California Mexico, and Spring Hill, Louisiana. To find out more about Spring Break, email Susan Ferguson at susan@staugustineschapel.org.
Fellowship Events
Fellowship events include attending campus plays, theaters, hiking, baking, escape game, historic places tours, movie nights, and service, and whatever else we come up with!
